Exports during the months of January-October 2020, registered a FOB value of US $ 5,919 million (+ 2% value compared to the same period 2019).
The products that made the greatest contribution to growth in these first ten months of 2020 compared to the same period of 2019 were: cocoa paste (+ 132%), ginger (+ 129%), semi-milled rice (+ 82%), frozen mango (+ 50%), various citrus fruits (+ 44%), piquillo pepper (+ 44%), palm oil (+ 41%), blueberries (+ 32%), mandarins (+ 32%), fresh mangoes (+15 %), prepared asparagus (+ 7.9%), among others.
It is important to highlight in the basket of non-traditional products, fruit exports during the January-October were FOB US $ 2,880 million, which mean 53% of non-traditional agricultural exports (+12% compared to to similar period 2019).
