Roma tomato prices at FOB McAllen, United States, have risen in W2 due to limited volume in main warehouses, attributed to lower harvest forecasts in key Mexican states like Sinaloa and Sonora, impacted by adverse climate conditions. Prices for 25-pound boxes are as follows:
Jumbo: USD 38 to 42
X Large: USD 38 to 42
Large: USD 38 to 42
Medium: USD 38 to 42
Prices are expected to continue rising in the coming weeks due to low inventories of Mexican products and the reported shortages in the Florida season at its harvest peak.
