As a result of the quality controls carried out by the Russian authorities on pepper and nectarine that were exported by Türkiye, a total of 75 notifications have been received on various dates since the beginning of 2022 due to the detection of quarantine pests such as Ceratitis capitata, Frankliniella occidentalis, Grapholita molesta, Monilinia fructicola, Megaselia scalaris, and Pepino mosaic. Overall, the number of notifications received from Russian customs since January 2019 reached 432, and this feedback plays an important role in improving the quality of Turkish export products.
