The first Spanish Navel oranges of the season arrived at Brazil's São Paulo wholesale market in W48. However, their quality is below expectations, with signs of rotting and molding, unusual for early-season fruit. As a result, boxes of 14 kilograms (kg) containing Class 1 oranges ranging from Calibers 40 to 56 are sold at a wholesale price of USD 21.56 to 23.22 per 14-kg box (BRL 130 to 140/14-kg box).
