Since the beginning of this 20/21 harvest in April until November of this year, sugarcane crushing was 594.88 million tons, an increase of 3.32% in comparison with the same period of the 19/20 harvest.
As in most regions it is already off-season, there are already 214 plants with the 2020/2021 harvest completed, compared to 206 plants verified in the same period in 2019. In the last fortnight, 61 companies closed the milling process, while another 32 companies must complete the operations in the next fortnight.
