Taiwanese Importer Tried to Import Korean Jeju Tangor in December 2022 but Failed

A few years ago, Taiwan imported Jeju tangor however, most Taiwanese importers stopped importing them due to issues with maximum residue limits (MRL) and high risk. In December 2022, a Taiwanese fruit importer tried to import a Jeju island tangor from South Korea, but it was rejected at customs due to failing the MRL test. In the winter season (December to February 2022/23), Taiwan has South African and locally grown tangors as the main supply.
