According to the Department of Agricultural Product Processing and Market Development, Vietnamese tea export volume in July 2020 was estimated at 12,000 tons with a value of 19 million USD, bringing the total volume and value of tea exports in the first seven-month of 2020 to 70,000 tons and 110 million USD. This result shows an increase of 1.3% in volume and a decrease of 8.7% in value over the same period in 2019. Besides that, while Pakistan and Taiwan are two markets that account for 44.7% of Vietnam's tea export market share, in the first seven-month of this year, the amount of tea exported to these two markets decreased both in volume and value due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
