The price of chicken eggs has dropped to below the cost, causing difficulties for the farmers. The oversupply of chicken eggs is affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Consumers consume less, and most restaurants are closed down during the COVID-19. The Thai government has set up an organization called the Egg and Product Development Policy Committee (Egg Board) to accelerate chicken eggs' export. CPF is in the process of supporting this policy by exporting up to 185 containers of chicken eggs for the 1st phase.
