The Chilean Cherry Industry Forecasts to Increase the Volume of Shipments to the US

The cherry industry in Chile expects to increase the volume of shipments to the US during the 2022/23 season, which started at the end of October 2022 and will end in January 2023. The increase is due to the uncertainty generated in China after the new year, and sanitary measures. On the other hand, a marketing campaign was developed in the retail markets of China, which will boost the demand, facilitating the market for cherries that have been hit hard in recent seasons because 90% of shipments focus on China.
