Thailand, the world's second-largest rice exporter, aims to export 8 million tons of rice in 2023. As of August 29th, the country has exported 5.29 million tons, marking a significant 12% increase compared to the same period in 2022. Key export destinations for Thai rice include Indonesia, Iraq, South Africa, the United States, and China.
