Canadian market presents opportunities for Vietnamese shrimp exports

Canada is being considered to be a potential exporting market for Vietnamese shrimp products. Canadian importers showing interest in Vietnam's frozen PTO tiger shrimp, HLSO EZP vannamei shrimp, and HLTO vannamei shrimp from Vietnam. In recent months, the demand of Canadian consumers for ready-to-eat shrimp increased in line with the COVID pandemic. Also, the Canadian government is looking for other sources of seafood to reduce dependency on the US supply.
