Demand for Indonesian Mackerel Scad in 2022 Increases in Taiwan

Demand for mackerel scad, which is used for fishing bait, has increased in Taiwan. The most common sizes requested for export are 61-70 and 61-80 grams. However, current exports were put on hold by most of the Indonesian sellers due to price declines in Taiwan. The exporters are convinced that demand for this fish is still high in the Taiwanese market and believe the price will bounce back in the next few months.
