The opening of export market of baby lobster to Taiwan

Following the plan by the Taiwanese government to improve the production output of lobster in the country, Taiwan has opened up a new business opportunity for baby lobster suppliers in Indonesia to market its product. With this new market opening its door, the suppliers have now begun their buyer targeting in Taiwan. In the early stage of this program, the national suppliers projected that the demand for baby lobsters could reach up to 1 MT/month. Moreover, Taiwan is also seen as an excellent regional alternative for the baby lobster industry, considering the slowing of demand from Southeast Asian countries such as Vietnam and Myanmar in 2020.
