On Mar 30, the United States decided to suspend all trade engagement with Burma, which was agreed under the 2013 Trade and Investment Framework Agreement (TIFA). The United States is the second-biggest buyer for Myanmar honey after Japan. Currently, all the future and existing export of honey to the US are canceled. Honey manufacturers need to reduce prices and look for alternative buyers.
