The production of green bell peppers has been low this season (June to December 2022) compared with 2021. Hurricanes and early cold weather in the Mexican states of San Luis, Zacatecas, Jalisco, and Michoacán affected the volume and quality of green bell peppers. Demand has been constant for Mexican green bell peppers, and prices are stable at USD 23-24 FOB in the McAllen market for the 1 1/9 bushel presentation.
