The war between Russia and Ukraine has intensified the adverse price condition, the prices of fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides have been rising in the past few months, upward trends of 30 to 100%, and will continue to rise in the short term. There are many brands of fertilizers, from all over the world, with grades and prices varied, but all price increments are as high as 100%. The price of agricultural materials has increased significantly in the past six months, rocketing raw materials and transportation costs are the main reasons behind. This carries a lot of pressure on the growers who have durian as their main income, and they must take care of the durian tree every day in the hope of a bumper harvest in the coming July.
