USA's restrictions on the importation of palm oil from Malaysia will not affect the country's palm oil industry. This is because India and China remain the largest importers of palm oil at 200,000 metric tons to 300,000 metric tons per month, while the total amount of palm oil imports from the US which is much lower. Other than that, Malaysian Palm Oil (CPO) is expected to remain stable in the fourth quarter of this year following demand from China and India.
