At the second Vietnam - New Zealand Agriculture Dialogue, Mr. Le Quoc Doanh, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) and Executive Director of the New Zealand Ministry of Basic Industry, Ray Smith affirmed realize the goal of a two-way trade turnover of USD 2 billion by 2024, strengthening bilateral agricultural cooperation and connectivity between the two countries is an important key.

After officially exporting fresh mangoes in 2011, dragon fruit in 2014, and rambutan in 2018, Mr. Doanh said the whole country was completing procedures to export fresh lemons and pomelos to New Zealand and then oranges, tangerines, and longans.
