Cold Fronts in Southern Arizona and Mexico Damaged Various Crops During W9

On March 1, 2023, a cold front in Southern Arizona and Mexico (Carbo, Hermosillo, and Guaymas) affected squash, zucchini, honeydew, watermelon, cantaloupe, and green bean crops. Growers will assess the damages during the end of the W9. All open field commodities are forecasted to have severe damage for the spring harvest of late March-June.
