Ukraine: A collection garden of almond varieties will be established in Odesa

A center for the study and selection of almonds is planned to be created on the territory of the Baltic OTG in the Odesa region. This was reported by the Vice President of the Ukrainian Nut Association, Vasyl Babanskyi, on his Facebook page. He noted that today dozens of hectares of almonds have been planted in Ukraine, the experience of its cultivation has been presented at international conferences and exhibitions, and the first contracts have been concluded with foreign partners, including from the Research Institute "I made a decision to continue the started case on the territory of the Baltic OTG. We are creating a center for the study of almonds, the organization of selection work, in particular. with the involvement of foreign specialists," said Vasyl Babanskyi.
