A new center for the study and selection of almonds is being established at the Baltic OTG in the Odesa region, Ukraine. The project, led by Vasyl Babanskyi, Vice President of the Ukrainian Nut Association, aims to build on Ukraine's growing almond cultivation experience, with plans to involve foreign specialists. The center will develop and manage almond varieties, focusing on efficient double material, including In-Vitro techniques. Training for Ukrainian representatives from a foreign research institute is scheduled for spring 2023.
