Active negotiations for opening the export of Bulgarian alfalfa to South Korea

Bulgarian grain producers will have the opportunity to export feed to Korea after the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA) signed an agreement with the Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency of the Republic of Korea. On this occasion, yesterday the BFSA Executive Director Hristo Daskalov had a meeting with the Korean delegation, which is on a three-day visit to the country, the BFSA announced. Bulgaria is the first EU country to be visited by Korean experts after the resumption of travel due to restrictions imposed by the COVID pandemic. This meeting is an important stage in the overall procedure for negotiating the terms of export of Bulgarian alfalfa to South Korea. The delegation carried out a full assessment of the BFSA's official feed control system and its equivalence with the Korean control system.
