In the first 10 months of this year, Rostov seaports successfully exported 15.5 million tons of agricultural products, marking a significant achievement. These products found home in 44 countries, with Turkey, Egypt, Libya, Bangladesh, and Algeria being the largest consumers. Turkey's imports primarily included wheat grain, corn, and wheat bran, while Egypt and Libya showed a strong preference for wheat. The export of grain and leguminous crops from the ports of the Rostov region reached 1.1 million tons by early August, with wheat making up over 90% of this total. Other countries like Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, India, Jordan, Albania, and the UAE also contributed to the high demand for Rostov's agricultural exports.
