The Iranian company Kourosh Food Industry has expressed interest in entering the Kazakhstan market. It intends to open facilities for the production of vegetable oil and poultry farming. This was announced by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, at the Kazakhstan-Iran business forum. "Iran is one of the main buyers of Kazakh grain. Last year, the turnover in the agro-industrial sector amounted to $220 million, and over the 10 months of this year, grain sales reached $280 million. We are providing support to entrepreneurs investing in agriculture. Today, a number of joint projects are being implemented. As an example, the Iranian company Solico Group plans to build a dairy plant in our country with a capacity of 200 thousand tons of products per year, as well as to launch the production of baby food.
