Catalonia announces aid aimed at the promotion and encouragement of local sales.

The Official Gazette of the Generalitat of Catalonia (DOGC) published on December 12th the Resolution approving the call derived from the regulatory bases of the de minimis aid intended for the promotion and commercialization of proximity sales. The purpose of the aid is the promotion and commercialization of proximity sales in Catalonia of agri-food and agricultural products from producers or groups of producers who sell their primary products, or the products resulting from their transformation, or both, either directly to consumers (direct sales), or to retail and catering establishments (short circuit). Beneficiaries of these aids can be: associations, federations, and foundations, in which the trade is carried out jointly or individually by each member, and cooperatives with an agro-shop where they carry out proximity sales of agri-food and agricultural products.
