Andalusia has set a new record in fruit and vegetable exports, with sales reaching 4,648 million euros in the first seven months of 2022, marking a 9.4% increase from the previous year. This makes Andalusia the leading region in Spain for fruit and vegetable exports, contributing 44% to the national total. The region experienced a historical surplus of 4,043 million euros, meaning it exports seven times more than it imports. The top exports include peppers, strawberries, and tomatoes, with Europe being the primary market for these exports.
