Despite the ongoing war in Ukraine, the country's gardeners are planning to expand their blueberry business by increasing export shipments in the 2023 season. Some farmers continued to expand blueberry plantations in 2022 due to affordable seedling prices. With the potential of exceeding 3,000 tons of blueberry exports for the first time in 2023, under normal spring weather conditions, Ukraine is set to break its blueberry export record from 2022, where it supplied over 2.5 thousand tons of fresh blueberries.
