Brazilian exports of corn distillers grains — known as DDG (dried distillers grains) and DDGS (dried distillers grains with solubles) – the so-called Brazilian Distillers Grains – celebrate a significant growth in 2025. According to data published by the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (MDIC), and compiled by UNEM, during the period the country exported 879,358.40 tons of this animal feed product to 25 markets, a volume 9.77% higher than the 801,101.27 tons recorded in 2024. Growth of DDG/DDGS The performance consolidates DDG/DDGS as an important value-adding vector of the corn and bioenergy chain in the Brazilian agribusiness, highlights UNEM.
