Cambodia has experienced a significant boost in its agricultural exports, particularly fresh mangoes, in the first five months of this year. Exports of agricultural products increased by 1.117 million tons from the previous year, reaching 4.136 million tons. Mango exports saw a 350% increase, totaling 10,000 tons. Other exports like rice, cassava, cashews, bananas, grapefruit, and coconut oil also experienced growth. This success is attributed to Cambodia's cooperation with China, which is increasing in agricultural development support. The first ceremony for Cambodia's mango exports to China took place on May 7th, making it the second fresh fruit that Cambodia can directly export to China after bananas. The Cambodian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries plans to further promote the export of other agricultural products to China.
