Canadian market has been opened for Ukrainian apples

Ukrainian gardeners will now be able to export apples to the Canadian market. This was reported by the press service of the State Food and Consumer Protection Service. It is noted that together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the department held successful negotiations with the Canadian side, as a result of which the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) approved a program for the export of fresh apples from Ukraine to Canada. It is reported that Canada has already updated import requirements for Ukraine in its Automated Import Reference System (AIRS) and approved the Program for the Export of Ukrainian Apples (Malus domestica) to Canada, which provides for the following main aspects: “The demand for Ukrainian products is only growing every year in the international trade arena.
