The corn market in Rio Grande do Sul continues with low dynamism, according to information from TF Agroeconômica. “The price ranges remain wide, between R$ 58.00 and R$ 75.00/sack, while the state average declined to R$ 62.17, with a drop of 0.81%, reflecting the lack of incentives and limited liquidity in the spot market. Domestic demand remains moderate and highly selective, while exports advance slowly,” it comments. The corn market in Santa Catarina continues without reaction, still marked by the strong mismatch between asking prices and offers. “Producers maintain indications close to R$ 80.00/sack, while industries continue to offer around R$ 70.00/sack, which prevents progress in negotiations. In the Planalto Norte, the few transactions recorded vary between R$ 71.00 and R$ 75.00/sack, but the lack of consensus continues to block liquidity,” it adds.
