In the cooperative's service area, sorghum crops this year occupy 1,500 hectares, while maize cultivation reaches 6,000 hectares planted by the cooperators. Aware of this scenario, the cooperative will hold a special Field Day on these two crops on December 16. Scheduled to start at 2 p.m., at the headquarters of Agropecuária Barufaldi (Capané region, in Cachoeira do Sul), the event will highlight eleven different maize cultivars and five sorghum varieties.
