In October 2022, Serbia set record in foreign trade for fruits and vegetables due to significant changes in the market. The country imported a historic high of 12.1 thousand tons of apples, seven times more than the previous year, due to a crop failure. Quince exports also hit a record high of 655 tonnes, with Bosnia and Herzegovina being the main buyer. Import of fresh raspberries also reached a new high at 200 tons. Potato imports increased due to drought, while cabbage exports strengthened, mainly to Croatia.
