In October, Ukraine set records in the export of several vegetables and fruits, including potatoes, cabbage, apples, and tangerines, while facing a historical low in watermelon exports. Potatoes were heavily exported to Belarus and Russia, with a significant decrease in imports due to high domestic production. Cabbage found a high demand in the Russian market, with half of the record 370 tons exported to Belarus. Onion exports saw a drastic decrease due to crop failures and quality issues, with the market now limited to Lithuania and Romania. Apples saw a significant increase in exports, reaching the highest in at least the last four years, with exports to a variety of countries including Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia.
