In May 2021, Serbia experienced a notable fluctuation in its fruit and vegetable trade. Imports of watermelons and melons doubled or tripled, with Greece and other countries contributing to the supply. However, stone fruit imports remained stable. The country also saw a decrease in the export of carrots due to a decreased supply, and a reduction in potato imports for the second season in a row. Leek imports increased, and cucumber exports began. There was a significant decline in imports of frozen peas and beans. Finally, the trade saw notable changes in the import of dried onions and coconuts.
