Elazig tomatoes in Turkey color the world's tables

Harvest has begun in tomatoes, which were planted on an area of 3,000 acres in Elazig and are expected to yield 25 thousand tons this year. Mehmet Salih Kıran, who came from Şanlıurfa to the Alatarla village of Elazığ to visit his relatives, realized that the cultivation area was empty here. Kıran, who planted for the first time by renting the fields last year, increased the area to 3 thousand this year. Harvest has started in the field that employs 600 people. Tomatoes collected by the workers are first sent to the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia regions.
