The Faesc/Senar System warns rural producers in Santa Catarina that as of January 5, 2026, the issuance of the Electronic Tax Invoice becomes mandatory for all rural producers, without exception. This measure ends once and for all the possibility of using the paper model 4 Tax Invoice, which was still allowed for producers with annual revenue below R$ 360 thousand, according to the legislation in force until then. According to the Senar/SC collection coordinator, Emerson Gava, the change requires special attention from the rural producer, as those who fell within this revenue range will also have to, compulsorily, migrate to the electronic system from the new date. He highlights that compliance with this requirement will be the main duty of the rural producer in the coming year.
