In the first half of the 2020/21 marketing year, Ukraine experienced a significant decrease in wheat flour exports, with figures dropping by 56% compared to the same period in the previous year, totaling 79.5 thousand tons. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) emerged as the largest buyer, importing 19.6% of the total flour exports, despite a 70% reduction in its purchases compared to the previous year. Moldova followed in the second place, increasing its flour imports by 5%, and Palestine rounded out the top three with a 21% decrease in its purchases. Together, these three countries accounted for 53% of Ukraine's flour exports in the first half of the marketing year.
