The volume of export deals in the Southern Federal District (SFD) in 2025 exceeded 116 billion rubles, with supplies of agricultural products rising 2.5 times. This was reported by RBC TV South by Alexander Molotsov, Vice President of the Russian Export Center (REC). The structure of exports, especially in the SFD, is dominated by agricultural products, noted the expert. "Exports of finished agricultural products last year increased 2.5 times. Of this volume, vegetable oils, for example, increased by 60%. And in total, the volume of deals for 2025 concerning vegetable oil, grain, milling products, and feed exceeded 116 billion rubles," he listed. Not only agricultural products are increasing in supply, Molotsov noted. "Engineering is growing, in particular, there was a noticeable increase in the supply of railway equipment. The geography of exports is also expanding. If we highlight the top 5 countries, they are Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, India, and Saudi Arabia," he reported.
