Fat imports decreased by 30% in Ukraine

In the first 8 months of 2020, 21.4 thousand tons of lard and other animal fats (chicken, etc.) were imported to Ukraine. In value terms, the volume of imports of such products amounted to 15.8 million US dollars, according to AGRI-GATOR and agronews.ua with reference to information provided by the press service of the State Customs Service of Ukraine. For comparison, from January to August 2019 inclusive, 30.8 thousand tons of lard, lard and poultry fat were imported.
