Food banks in the Netherlands are looking for more misfits

In the big cities in particular, the supply of healthy products from Dutch agriculture is insufficient, reports Groente & Fruitbrigade. That is the distribution organization of the food banks. The brigade asks entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector who have sorted product left over after sorting and processing, to report via the organization's website. Due to recent price increases, the number of people relying on food aid has increased sharply. Customer databases are often 30 to 50 percent larger than a few months ago.
