Gyeongnam Province in South Korea has allocated 14 billion won from the Rural Development Fund to provide emergency support to farmers affected by abnormal weather and winter bee damage. The funding will be used for wasp control equipment, improving the beekeeping industry, eco-friendly bee breeding support, purchasing supplementary feed for beekeeping, and a honey stick packaging machine. Additionally, support for bee disease control drugs and a loan to aid beekeeping farms due to recent overwintering beeol damage are part of the plan. The province also plans to expand modern facilities and equipment for the beekeeping industry and promote honey spring plant formation to secure a breeding environment in response to climate change.
