Sales of harvesters in Brazil registered a sharp contraction in February 2026, with a drop of nearly 50% compared to the previous year, according to data released by the National Federation of Motor Vehicle Distributors (Fenabrave). The performance reflects a more restrictive macroeconomic scenario, marked by high interest rates, rising costs, and changes in the purchasing behavior of rural producers. According to the entity, 142 harvesters were sold in February, a number that represents a 17% decline compared to January. Compared to February 2025, when 281 units were sold, the contraction was even more significant, reaching 49.5%. In the first two months of 2026, sales totaled 313 harvesters, a drop of 42.4% compared to the 543 units registered in the same period of the previous year.
