In the first half of 2021, Ukraine saw a significant increase in cabbage imports, with a 47% rise to 17.9 thousand tons compared to the same period in 2020, valued at $10.6 million, a 29.5% increase from the previous year. The main suppliers were Northern Macedonia, Italy, and Uzbekistan. Domestic cabbage exports also increased by 39% to 5.1 thousand tons, earning $1.6 million, a 44.4% increase from the previous year. Belarus, Romania, and Moldova were the main buyers of Ukrainian cabbage.
