From January to May 2021, Ukraine saw a 22% increase in fish and aquatic bioresources exports, totaling $17.3 million. The main buyers were Germany, Denmark, and Moldova, with the majority of exports being finished or canned fish, fish fillets, and other fish meat. Other significant recipients included Lithuania, Israel, and the Netherlands. The State Fisheries Agency reported this increase, with the most exported items being shellfish, frozen fish, and live fish.
