The number of cattle in Kazakhstan as of August 1 increased by 2.7% and amounted to 9.68 million heads, reports the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the number of horses has increased by 7.7%; the number is 4.2 million. The number of sheep increased by 3.6%, to 23 million heads.
