Numerous were the notes that Bichos de Campo dedicated to the Peter family, whose members have been important figures in the landscape and history of the Entre Ríos delta since 1929. That trajectory, which is close to reaching 100 years, blends with great harmony afforestation with cattle ranching in wetlands and river transport. One of the main guardians of that memory is José Luis Peter, third generation of that family, who has become a reference among the producers of the Islas de Ibicuy Department. That was what, in part, motivated a new visit by this medium to their forest-livestock approach, which, like other establishments in the area, has its focus on preventing the entry of a feared pest in the province: the tick.
