The growth in consumer prices in March 2026 turned out to be slightly higher than the expectations of analysts - the consensus forecast of economists surveyed by "Interfax" for the month was 0.58% - while it fully matched the weekly dynamics, which also indicated a price increase in March by 0.6%. Year-on-year inflation, according to Rosstat, in March 2026 slowed to 5.86% (analysts expected 5.84%) from 5.91% at the end of February.
