Today, it is more profitable for agricultural producers of Kazakhstan, taking into account subsidies from the state, to sell sunflower seeds to the domestic market than for export. Therefore, the export duty on oilseeds, which is planned to be introduced in early 2023, should not affect the income of producers. This opinion was expressed by the General Director of Olzha Agro Aidarbek Khodjanazarov on his page on the social network. He clarified that by selling raw materials to domestic processors and receiving partial subsidies from the state, as a result, sunflower seed producers are more profitable on the domestic market than on the external one.
