In the first half of this agricultural season, Kazakhstan significantly increased its wheat bran exports, with a 5.2 fold increase compared to the previous year, reaching 280.63 thousand tons. China and Uzbekistan were the main importers, accounting for 71.6% and 26.9% of the total exports respectively. Other countries like Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Belarus also imported small quantities. The country is on track to export 550 thousand tons of wheat bran for the year, a 36% increase from the previous year.
