Kyrgyzstan's peach and apricot exports to China expected to be approved

According to Kyrgyz media reports, the Kyrgyz Ministry of Agriculture's press office said that experts from the General Administration of Customs of China will inspect the country's orchards producing fresh peaches and apricots, as well as storage and packaging sites. It is worth noting that the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing of Kyrgyzstan and the General Administration of Customs of China have drafted the "Protocol on Phytosanitary Requirements for the Export of Fresh Apricots and Peaches from the Kyrgyz Republic to China". According to the document, fresh apricots (Prunus armeniaca) and peaches (Prunus persica) exported from Kyrgyzstan must comply with China's phytosanitary requirements and safety standards.
